Synopsis

After the sudden death of his father John Constantine goes back to London for his funeral. When he finds out that supernatural things he investigates what's happening and hopefully puts all the pieces together.

  • perfectcasting John Constantine At a night bar in Los Angeles John Constantine gets a phone call that his dad has died in his home at London. The next day John Constantine meets with FBI Agent Benjamin Cox to take him to his fathers house. When he gets there he is riddled by how there is no police officers and his fathers body just on the floor. Benjamin is weirded out by how John sees his fathers dead corpse but, no emotion is showing. Suddenly, John pins Cox on the wall and asks what’s going on here. Cox explains that he is a Private Occult Investigator and tells Cox that he needs time to think. He goes to a bar where he spends all morning contemplation then he realizes an old acquaintance lives in London. John knocks at an old-fashioned single bedroom house where out comes a man around the same age as John but quite shorter. The man instantly recognizes John but pushes him away. John manages to get in the man’s house and instigates towards the point where the man turns into a monster. John seems to be happy as him and the monster brawl it out destroying the house in the process. John casts a spell to turn the monster back to human and John greets him as Jason Blood. The next morning Jason and John meet up Cox and Cox explains that a series of quite harmful deaths have happened around the London area. John and Jason head to the Occult Crime Division where there are met by the head Giovanni Zatara. They are granted the case but they get grouped with Zatanna, Giovanni’s daughter. They head to where they think the next attack to be and wait. Finally, after 3 hours of waiting they get there first reading. They enter the house to find an 10 feet tall giant troll-demon tearing apart an elderly lady. Jason transforms into Etrigan as John and Zatanna attack him with magic. In the corner of his eye John sees a shadowy figure peeking through the window John chases the figure to find out his identity is Felix Faust a practically immortal being who is revealed to be the head of all of this. Faust reveals his next victim to be Giovanni Zatara and before John can do anything Felix disappears. John rushes to the house to tell the others of what’s happening to find out that Jason is severely injured. John tells them what’s happening and Jason tells them to go and leave him. John and Zatanna arrive at the agency only to see demons all over the place. Zatanna fights The Black Borris while John searches for Giovanni. Zatanna struggles but, uses her surroundings to defame at Borris. John finds Giovanni to find that it’s to late. John spots Faust in the corner and attacks him. John brutalizes Faust leaving him bloody and in severe condition. The demons vanish back into Hell and John leaves holding Giovanni in his arms which leads Zatanna to break down crying. Felix Faust is locked up leading John to head out. Before he steps on the flight Jason catches up to him and thanks him and states that he wants to work with him another time. On the flight John is stunned to figure out that the person sitting right next to him is Lucifer. Lucifer tells John that Felix may be in prison but, his plan is going into effect and a gateway to hell is opening in New York and out will come every Devil from hell. John begs the pilot to stop the plane in New York but refuses to. John decides to jump out the plane at New York at use a spell to safely land. Once he lands he sees the gateway is already opening and uses his most powerful spell to try and close it. After all the struggle he closes it and saves the world from hell.
