Fan Casting Claire Redfield in John Carpenter's Resident Evil

Claire Redfield is a scrappy, guarded 23-year-old who returns to Raccoon City to warn her estranged brother Chris that Umbrella has poisoned the town. Haunted by childhood trauma from the Ashford Orphanage—where she witnessed Lisa Trevor and Dr. Birkin's cruelty—she's streetwise, resourceful, and fiercely independent. She picklocks doors, hotwires motorcycles, and handles firearms with practiced ease. Claire serves as the film's emotional anchor: a survivor who refuses to abandon her brother, forming an unlikely alliance with rookie cop Leon Kennedy as the outbreak consumes the city.
