When Sam Emerson's summer school crush, Vanessa Harker, falls in with a new gang of vampires led by the returning David, he must team up with the Frog brothers and Vanessa's feisty younger sister, Sarah, to save her before she is lost forever. As Vanessa and the sympathetic vampire Julian struggle against their monstrous urges, Sam discovers the vampire conspiracy reaches all the way to the Mayor's office. With the help of his eccentric Grandpa, the unlikely heroes must infiltrate the vampire lair and destroy David and his coven once and for all.
