The Film ends with the death of both Berengetti and Striker and various characters from the previous films watching on TV as a news report says "the Hulk is still alive." Meanwhile, in the ruins of Berengetti's Hotel, Slater picks up a quarter from a destroyed slot machine and slips it into an old payphone, dialing 881-621-264. "Home Base? It's Slater. Just calling into to say "Mission Accomplished."

@thecastmaker thanks. There's so much cross-continuity for comic book movies these days it's easy to forget that many of these characters can stand on their own.

@castingsinmyblood I agree. For me, it doesn't matter if it's shared or stand-alone, what matters is doing something good with these superheroes and their unique specialties.

@castingsinmyblood For example, his Hulkverse makes me think of a visual blend of Del Toro's Hellboy, '50s and '60s Godzilla, and echoes of Cronenberg's body horror.

@thecastmaker Nah. Multiverses can get real out of hand if you're not careful. And even if the MCU wanted to crossover, they'd find me at the portal with a shotgun in a rocking chair to tell them "you just keep on driving"
