The 100-year war between England and France is at its height. A young country girl has just taken the lead of the French army to end the suffering of France, which is subjected to the wicked will of the English conquerors. Soon, thanks to his charisma and courage, he will win the hearts of not only his fellow warriors but also ordinary people. After a series of winning battles, Joan of Arc becomes a legend. But King Charles VII began to fear Joan's influence after a time. Eventually Joan is betrayed and goes into English captivity. They will put her before an English court. In the trial, led by the French bishop Pierre Cauchon, she is condemned as a witch and a heretic. On 30 May 1431, Joan, in aged nineteen, is burned to death in Vieux-Marché Square in the town of Rouen.
