Fan Casting Jobim in James McTeigue's Cowboy Bebop

The comic relief of the three miners, Jobim has a hoarse, wheezing laugh that fills the saloon. He is the worst poker player at the table, the first to lose his chips, and the one who gets shot in the knee when Antonio’s gun goes off. He screams, grabs his leg, and immediately starts laughing again. He limps through the rest of the film—if he appears again—with the same crooked grin. He has been shot before. He will be shot again. Life is funny that way.
