This is a fancast for the newly established DCU ran by James Gunn. Superman (2025) put an end to the dark and gritty trend that has consumed Hollywood for two decades. It embraced its comic book origins and was not afraid to be bright, hopeful and a bit goofy. Each project in the DCU will have its own tone. Batman will not be as hopeful as Superman, but it doesn’t need to be a gritty crime noir or action movie.
