Three aliens from the planet of Mobius are trapped on Earth after a interstellar rift opened up. Now Sonic, Tails and Knuckles must find the six Chaos Emeralds in order to return home. They must make allies with a human reporter and her astronaut fiancée in order to avoid and stop the villainous Dr. Eggman from stealing the Chaos Emeralds to take over the world!
