Synopsis

On Christmas Eve, a troubled man with financial problems plans to take his own life, until he is shown how wonderful his life is and how much he means to his loved ones and the world by an angel who wants to get his wings.

Description of Peter Bailey:

Peter Bailey is George and Harry's father and former owner of the Bailey Brother's Building and Loan, alongside Uncle Billy. He was a good, loving father who worked hard for his family and he also wanted Harry to go to college. He eventually dies from a stroke when George and Mary first met and have a wonderful evening together after the school dance, leaving George to decide to give up his trip to Europe to help the Building and Loan.
