Story Plot

Synopsis: After Tony's return from China, he has maintained his routines very well. He does not drink as much and he has invested money in a home gym. Tony has started meeting Rhodey much more often and has even made a suit for Rhodey, this he calls the 'War Machine' suit. However, one thing that has made Tony furious is that other companies have tried to replicate his invention, his Iron Man suits. Tony has told J.A.R.V.I.S to report all new cases of a company copying his suits. One day, J.A.R.V.I.S tells him that a new company has copied his idea. J.A.R.V.I.S reports that the company's name is Hammer Industries, and sighs afterwards. Justin Hammer, owner of Hammer Industries is a good friend of Tony and was also a good friend of Tony's father Howard. Tony, who is starting to get really pissed off at these copycats, decides to contact Hammer and book an appointment. Happy drives Tony to a local pub a few hours later where he will meet Justin. The two friends start talking, and Hammer tells Stark about the suits and claims that he is Iron Man and that the other companies copy his invention. This makes Tony even more frustrated and he storms out of the pub. Tony, who feels like Justin has betrayed both him and his father, comes up with a plan to stop Justin and all the other copycats. He calls Rhodey and explains his plan over the phone.

    When new info comes out that Hammer and other companies are selling their fake suits that they claim are genuine, Tony decides to put his plan into action. He and Rhodey gather on Tony's couch to go through the field one last time. Pepper protests that they should not take revenge on Justin, but neither Tony nor Rhodey care. They suit up, and Tony explains to Pepper that he must do this out of respect for his father. Pepper sighs, and the two men fly away to Hammer industries. They break in and kick open the door to Hammer's office. Hammer, who has been waiting for Tony and Rhodey, welcomes them to the party. Hammer suits up and shows off a bunch of fake suits, armed down to the toes. Hammer presses a button, and the suits attack Tony and Rhodey. The fight destroys Hammer's entire office and it continues downtown, putting the lives of several innocent people at risk. After a long fight, Tony and Rhodey have destroyed all the fake suits, and the last one left is Justin Hammer. The three start fighting, and Tony is surprised to find out that Hammer has spent a lot of time on his suit. Rhodey manages to get a powerful blow on Hammer, which causes him to collapse. Hammer, who knows he has lost, tries to explain himself to Tony and Rhodey, but they show no mercy. Rhodey arrests Hammer, who swears revenge on Iron Man and War Machine. Mid credit scene 1: After this incident, the other companies stop making fake suits and apologize to all the people they´ve sold it to. Mid credit scene 2: A Chinese terrorist organization travels to America to find Tony Stark who escaped from their captivity using a robotic suit. Their leader who goes by the alias 'The Mandarin' is determined that this "Iron Man" they have heard so much about must be their lost prisoner. Post credit scene: Samuel Sterns is desperately trying to find a cure for Gamma Radiation, which is driving him crazy.
