Iron Man and the Yellowjacket

The line between hero and executioner vanishes.

A mysterious, ruthless new vigilante known only as Yellowjacket begins a dark crusade across the globe, systematically purging escaped supervillains. Major threats like MODOK, Whirlwind, Egghead, and the Absorbing Man vanish without a trace, prompting an urgent joint investigation. Iron Man teams up with Janet and Bill to track down the elusive hunter before more criminals die. Utilizing Tony Stark's global surveillance network and SHIELD telemetry, the trio successfully corners Yellowjacket in an abandoned factory. A fierce, high-tech brawl erupts as the vigilante utilizes advanced tech and erratic, aggressive combat tactics to hold off all three heroes. During the chaos, Wasp analyzes the energy signatures of Yellowjacket's weapon systems. To her absolute horror, she realizes the data matches her partner, Hank Pym, who has completely suffered a psychological break following the cataclysmic trauma of the Ultron incident. Tony assumes Hank has crossed the ultimate line into murder, however, during a desperate mid-battle confrontation, Yellowjacket furiously defends his actions, exposing the truth. He hasn't been killing the villains; he is using an amplified does of Pym Particles to shrink them down to a molecular scale. They are trapped inside a microscopic quantum prison forever, unable to escape. Though Hank believes this is the solution to crime, the team realizes his unstable mentality has made him completely unhinged. Recognizing that this endless crusade will eventually push Hank to actual murder or accidental, Janet makes the choice to side with Tony. Our final act escalates into a fight. After a grueling struggle against Hank's shrinking maneuvers, Iron Man, Goliath, and Wasp restrain him. Stripping the Yellowjacket armor, Wasp promises a broken Hank that they will get him the psyche help he needs.
