Fan Casting Iron Man (2008)

Tony Stark, a billionaire inventor, is ambushed in Afghanistan and captured by the Ten Rings. In captivity, with fellow prisoner Yinsen, he constructs a suit of armor to escape, leading to Yinsen’s sacrifice. Back home, Stark announces Stark Industries will stop making weapons, angering Obadiah Stane, his father’s former partner. Stark refines his armor and arc reactor, while Stane secretly builds his own suit and plots to take over the company. Stane steals Stark’s arc reactor, but Stark retrieves his original to power his suit. With help from his friend Rhodey, Stark battles Stane, who dons the Iron Monger suit. Together, they defeat Stane by overloading the main arc reactor, causing Stane to fall into it and die. The next day, Stark publicly reveals he is Iron Man. Post Credits: Nick Fury visits Tony Stark at home, stating, “Mr. Stark, you’ve become part of a bigger universe. You’re not the only superhero. We’re keeping tabs on others with extraordinary abilities—like a scientist named Bruce Banner, a man with a hammer, and a soldier from the past. I’d like to discuss the Avenger Initiative.”
