Synopsis

Invisible is a rock musical and an idea by me. It tells the story of a social group of teenagers with invisible learning disabilities and mental disorders struggling within a mainstream school. As well as telling the subjects of invisible learning disabilities and mental health, it also focuses on the subjects like suicide, racism and homophobia.

Description of James Martin:

A football player with Autism and ADHD who is of African descent. He is a strong victim of both ableism and racism, with him joining his school football team with a racist coach and racist players. His friends encourage him to leave the school football team and try and find a nicer football team outside of school but James doesn’t listen because he thinks it will make him look bad. He is also Delilah’s ex-boyfriend.
