A young girl named Penny lost her parents to an evil company called MAD, she finds her Uncle Brown is still alive but unconscious and horribly damaged, so she along with her dog Brain run up to a high tech scientist Brenda Bradford and asks if she could repair her uncle into a badass machine man to serve justice for her parents' deaths and kill the evil mastermind who is responsible for them, Dr. Claw! Thus she creates Inspector Gadget, not your dim-witted child friendly inspector, but a super killing machine! Penny, Brain, and Inspector Gadget set out to fight criminals and android weapons out in the city, find clues as to who Dr. Claw really is and put an end to all his evil doings around the world!
