It is the third year of The Injustice Wars, which now appear to be at a crossroads. More and more, members of Superman's rebellion have been left injured, and the numbers of the soldiers of Batman's regime are dwindling day by day. Reluctantly, Bruce Wayne, upon learning that the cause of this new mass crusade is coming from a variant of himself known simply as ''The Batman Who Laughs'', has chosen to forge a temporary alliance with Clark Kent, sealing a truce between The Regime and the rebellion. But little do they know that this sick and twisted version of Batman is not alone in his crazed mission to conquer the multiverse...
