3 comments on Orson Welles 's Inglorious Basterds (1947)

  • castingsinmyblood Initially, I was unsure of Orson Welles as director, but then I remembered reading the Big Brass Ring and My Lunches with Orson and remembered that Welles could switch between funny and dramatic at the drop of a hat, much like a Tarantino film. This would no doubt have been a wild romp of a film if Welles had made it. And Conrad Veidt as Hans Landa is an inspired choice. Great Job.
