Charlie Burnham finds his wealthy father, Salvatore Burnham, murdered. He suspects his wife, Dani, and his brother, Cary, responsible for the murder. He also suspects a beautiful and suspicious stranger at the funeral who knows far too much. At the same time, he hires private eye Harry Baker and the family attorney, Georgie Burlington, to investigate the further details of the case. With everything at risk, he feels an overgrowing sense of paranoia and "talks to his father" for comfort.
