A John Lennon biopic. Takes place between 1970-80 after his run with The Beatles. Focuses on the making of The Plastic Ono Band album, Imagine, his relationships with Yoko Ono, his children and the remaining Beatles. Also covering his "Lost Weekend" phase between 1973-75 when he and Yoko separated and started a relationship with personal assistant May Pang. Then his 5-year hiatus from the press and music to raise his son Sean with Yoko, to his return to music making with Double Fantasy, to his untimely death by Mark David Chapman in 1980.
