Tivan have an Idea for Howard is to go to planet Earth and meet a Girlfriend Beverly Switzler, Lester Verde gets jeolous and became Doctor Bong and took it from her. Feeling guilty over abandoning Beverly from Doctor Bong, Howard decided to recruit help in order to rescue the girlfriend, especially due to the looming threat of Doctor Bong plotting to assassinate Beverly. To that end, Howard and Blade held tryouts for mutants as potential members for their rescue team.
