Story Plot
In 2003, a group of American soldiers and an Iraqi officer find themselves trapped in an ancient Sumerian city under the Iraqi desert, where they awaken a horde of winged creatures that feed on human blood. To survive, they must join forces and face the horrors that lurk in the darkness, while discovering the secrets of an ancient curse that dates back to King Naram-Sin, the last ruler of the Akkadian dynasty.
