Dr. Mila Reznik, a disgraced scientist known for controversial experiments on human regeneration, receives an invitation to a secluded island research lab owned by eccentric billionaire Elias Kreiger. Alongside other brilliant minds in biology, genetics, and robotics, Mila is promised limitless funding to achieve the dream of "eternal life" by creating the first fully synthetic human. Upon arriving, the scientists find themselves in a state-of-the-art but eerily sterile facility. Kreiger’s assistants, android-like nurses in porcelain masks, silently oversee the operations. The group’s task is to combine their knowledge to perfect Kreiger’s “host skin”—a material designed to mimic human flesh and adapt to any body. However, the experiments turn sinister when Mila notices strange scars forming on her body overnight. One by one, the scientists wake up missing pieces of themselves—fingers, patches of skin, or even organs—yet still alive. They discover that Kreiger’s true goal is not synthetic humanity but to create a grotesque, composite body made entirely from their harvested parts. Detailed, stomach-turning sequences of surgeries and organ removal, shot with unflinching realism. The film delves into the mental breakdown of each character, showing how fear and desperation strip away their humanity. A claustrophobic, sterile environment intensifies the dread, making the audience feel trapped with the characters.
