A scientist, Wayne Szalinski works on a project to shrink an object itself. A Baseball would hit the attic, activating the machine when he was gone. Unfortunately, It shrunk his kids, Nick, Amy, and two kids next door, Ron and Russel. They have to find a way to get their dads attention, and reverse the shrinking process.
