A lone wolf student belonging to the kendo club of Setagaya Commercial High School, and he's not a typical delinquent. Rather than a competition specialized in shinai matches, he use kendo with wooden sword designed for actual combat. He has a somewhat period drama personality and likes to use old proverbs and sayings. Initially sent to fight Masaki, he almost defeat Masaki, and Yuu, who arrives, struggles to fight against him, but Taka ultimately loses by a backward spinning kick that was devised as a weapon counter-technique. Though simple-minded, he also showed a straightforward side by honestly praising Yuu for defeating him. He cooperates with Iwado, helping Izawa's group who falls into Drug King's trap, and leads them to victory.
