After his family was killed because of his best friend, Peter Parker, Ned Leeds decides to take revenge on Spider-Man. With the help of Norman Osborn, Ned develops a technology capable of killing Spidey and all of his allies. Taking possession of one of Peter Parker's biggest weaknesses, Hobgoblin apparently kills Michelle Jones and that makes Peter very sad even stop being Spider-Man.
