Fan Casting Highschool of the Dead

The world has been struck by a deadly pandemic of mysterious origins that turns humans into zombies, referred to euphemistically as simply “them”. In present day Japan, the island country is engulfed in the ensuing catastrophic event known as the “Outbreak”, infecting countless people and turning into the walking dead. A group of high school students—consisting of leader Takashi Komuro, Rei Miyamoto, Saeko Busujima, Saya Takagi, and Kohta Hirano—along with the school nurse Shizuka Marikawa and recently orphaned young girl Alice Maresato and pet puppy Zeke, set out into a new world with a freshly grim, bleak and terrifying reality, as they continually fight to survive another day, scavenging for resources, finding safe shelter, and meeting new allies as well as fighting dangerous enemies that threaten their daily survival.
