After a lifetime of suffering and the loss of his family, the demigod Hercules, son of Zeus, turned his back on the gods and found solace in violence and bloodshed, now leading a team of mercenaries passionate about killing and whose only concern is how much they will receive for taking lives. Their reputation led them to be recruited by King Cotys with the aim of making his soldiers as violent and ruthless as they are.
