Hector the hero
Hector is the story of a young Scottish boy named hector archibald Macdonald who was the son of a crofter. But he then joins the Gordon Highlanders serving in Afghanistan where he is given a choice receive the Victoria cross or a promotion and chooses the promotion and then goes on to serve in the first Boer War and then the Mahdist War and then the second Boer War but then takes his life.
