While their mother is away for the whole summer at the end of the school year, Sharpay Evans, now in Los Angeles, has got a job at a local store, along with her best friend, Rose the vice president, and her love interest, Nick. But when their elderly babysitter, Miss Sturak, accidentally falls to her death of a heart attack by choking on her whistle, Sharpay and her friends are all on their own without any money until Poppy Cat and her friends arrive to help them earn it for the work they do, get rid of the cat-allergic man next-door, Dr. Quinn, and save her job before the summer party starts with the importance of teamwork.
