Savanna Mckenzie moves to Haddonfield with her parents and her little sister Taylor after her father accepted the position of sheriff at the police department. She's told that the town doesn't celebrate Halloween as it was banned years ago. Curious to know why, she asks her new friends. They tell her about the murders that occured on that fateful Halloween night in 1978 and the ones that occured after that.
