Synopsis

I used to watch to original as a kid but decided to come up with my own take of a reboot concept. I included a new original character that ties into their powers and reveal secrets from the past. 3 girls attending college in Australia explore Mako Island for artifacts where unbeknownst to them discover a crystal grotto that gives them the ability to turn into mermaids. Alongside discovering their powers, they also awaken an amnestic ancient warrior trying to discover his past while helping out his new friends.

Description of Cleo Sertori:

Cleo was a shy but brilliant student who wanted to become an archeologist and was fascinated by legends and myths of the world. Upon hearing legends of Mako Island, she goes with Emma and Rikki to discover any artifacts and discovers the passage to the grotto and unintentionally the magic crystals that fall in and eventually become mermaids. Reuniting with Lewis, she starts to develop feelings for him but struggles to overcome her inner struggles.
