Nora Allen is Barry's warm, wise, and deeply loving mother, whose brutal murder when Barry was 14 shattered his world. In flashbacks, she teaches her son the most important lesson of his life: "Don't just think, Barry. Do. Feel." She appears to Barry in the Speed Force, older and alive, baking a birthday cake in a world that could have been—a vision of the happiness he lost and the life he still might build.
