GREENE
American Revolution's Caty and Major General Nathanael Greene
The Patriotic 1776 revival starts here. Proudly celebrate the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence with a Patriotic Music Extravaganza. How did the Patriots go from a shot around the world; a Declaration; barely surviving; to winning the war? After two humiliating defeats in the south, Nathanael Greene was selected the commander to rebuild the Southern Continental Army. Nathanael lived the American Dream and was an unlikely soldier, never mind being second in command. This is the much forgotten story of Major General Nathanael Greene's and his wife Caty Greene's contributions. His innovative Southern Campaign caused Cornwallis’ remaining forces to flee to Yorktown where they surrendered ending the conflict.
