GREEN LANTERN CORPS is a six part mini-series that chronicles the journey of Hal Jordan into becoming the Emerald Knight. When a alien spacecraft crashes outside of Coast City, ace pilot Hal Jordan discovers Abin Sur; a member of the intergalactic police force known as the Green Lantern Corps. Jordan is chosen to take up the mantle of the Green Lantern for Sector 2814 and begins his training on the planet Oa. Forced to learn under legendary Lantern Sinestro, Jordan soon realizes the enormity of the legacy left by Abin Sur and begins to wonder if he can be the soldier the Corps needs him to be; all while a universe threatening entity advances towards the Earth.
