Synopsis

In a world where witches and humanoid creatures are ostracized by society and have their own war with each other yet willingly have interspecies relationships, a young human princess on the outskirts of the war mistakenly ends up getting involved. After her own father attempts to have her killed, Amaya runs away and is swept into the protection of unexpected help: a protective no nonsense huntsman who teaches her how to fight, an annoying werewolf who teases her newfound mentor, and a handsome cocky thief she bonds with and falls for. Together with these men, along with others, will Amaya have the forces necessary to combat her father and reclaim her kingdom, or will her father succeed in controlling everything?

Description of Messani Zerapün:

Human-Neko son of Chief Zinwall. Though his mother is never seen as she is dead by the events of the story, she was a werewolf as evidenced by Messani having both dog and human like features compared to his father who is straight up an anthropomorphic feline male. Like Darcy Zunnager, he too is cynical about the war, but is more interested in pursuing personal freedom than actually engaging in the war. This trait causes some tension between him and his father but ends after his father dies in his arms, at which point he determines to join the war in his father’s honor.
