Synopsis

After helping the New Warriors defeat Taskmaster, the Great Lake Avengers go off to help the innocent and fight against the strange and absurd forces of evil in the world. Along the way, they must prove themselves as real superheroes in a world of gods, and not as throw away super-people.

Description of Big Bertha (Ashley Crawford):

Ashley is a mutant with the ability to increase/decrease the amount of fat on her body. Always being ridiculed for her abilities (especially as a teenager when she did not know how to control them), she later joined the Great Lake Avengers. The team being a haven for strange and weird heroes, she found her family there. The team would come into conflict with the New Warriors in a confrontation with Taskmaster, but the two teams would end up working together to stop the villain.
