Modern girl in a male surfer’s world
Frances “Gidget” Lawrence is a 15-year-old Southern California native who is intent on learning to surf as well (if not better!) than the boys. However, her reason for hitting the beach soon turns from learning to surf to trying to catch her surfer boy crush Moondoggie.
