The Comicverse: Phase 1
Major Motoko Kusanagi, better known as just "Major", is re-operated with a fully-prosthetic replica of her original body following a horrible car crash, giving her unlimited access to clouds and interfaces all over Japan's digitally-saturated cities. Assigned to lead a ragtag team of soldiers for the Japanese governments "Section-9" program, Major leads her new team to take down a dangerous cyber-terrorist nicknamed "The Puppet Master". On this mission, she also in tends to find out more about the people who gave her her new body to make them pay for the suffering they put her through.
