A 1980s' AMERICAN FABLE

1986. Miami, Florida. It begins when a city administrator advocating for green chemistry in Miami is murdered in a popular night club along the beachfront strip. The only witnesses to the murder are two private-eyes who were trailing the man on request from an anonymous client. After barely escaping the crime scene before they are questioned, private-eyes Bambi Curtis and Reginald Tucker not only find out what the city administrator was in the process of doing for Miami, but that his plans would have affected the legalization of a new oil factory. Waiting for authorities to find them, they send the evidence they have to a drop-off point, and then receive another anonymous request to investigate an un-marked beta-video-tape sent to them in the mail to decide for themselves if the contents are real or not. What starts off as a routine pornographic video turns suddenly into something else when the pornographic actress at center of the video suddenly has her head blown clean off by a shotgun off-camera. Only now realizing they have gotten themselves into to something not normal for their line of work, Curtis & Tucker soon reach out to a pornographic actress they saw with the city administrator, and later being forced to work with investigating detectives, to discover whatever it is that has rooted it’s ugly being into Christmas-enticed Miami.
