Description of Doña Angiavesta Vorchenza (Countess Amberglass):

Doña Angiavesta Vorchenza is an elderly Camorri noble and the Dowager Countess of Amberglass, one of the Five Towers of Camorr. She is perceived as being senile. She is later revealed to be Duke Nicovante's spymaster, called the Spider, a position which most people believe is held by a man. Doña Vorchenza seemingly acts as a sort of mother figure for many of Camorr's lesser donas, including Sofia Salvara, through whom she learns about the Thorn of Camorr's con on the Salvaras.
