Fan Casting Ra's al Ghul in Gavin O'Connor's Batman: Hush

The Demon's Head. Ra's al Ghul has lived for centuries, and he does not tolerate disrespect. When he learns that someone has defiled one of his Lazarus Pits — using it to cure terminal cancer — he summons Batman to the desert for answers. Ra's brings regal authority, not as a cartoon villain but as a warrior-philosopher with his own code of honor. Their sword fight is brutal and brief, but it establishes that even Ra's is disturbed by the conspiracy unfolding in Gotham. The enemy of his enemy is not necessarily his friend.
