The evil Lrrr has teamed up with some fellow evil alien overlord buddies to take over Earth by travelling back in time and taking it over, converting it into a human slave-camp and intergalactic casino. Clueless delivery boy Phillip J. Fry, the rude, sardonic robot Bender and the skilled (but soon to be short-of-patience) Leela follow them where they need to get help from a familiar family...
