Synopsis

Many centuries ago, in a corner of the universe known as The Fourth World, the ancient gods destroyed themselves in a Ragnarok and their planet was split in two, giving rise to a new race of gods, the peaceful inhabitants of New Genesis, a planet led by Highfather, and the inhabitants of Apokolips, a planet ruled with an iron fist by the tyrant Darkseid. Upon learning that the evil forces of Apokolips are planning something bad on Earth, Highfather sends his forces of good there, led by the heroic (but conflicted) Orion.

  • jeanbetancourt1 Just read your synopsis, uh, Orion is not a good guy, “yeah let’s save earth”, he’s actually Darkseid’s son and very Dark, more like Highfarher’s enforcer than a savior lol…. High father and Darkseid were at war basically over the Fate the Universe, Earth would be like “Meh.” And Orion would never be its savior. Mister Miracle and Big Barda on the other hand, yeah! Scott Free is the son High Father, he and Orion were traded at birth one father to the other, for a peace of the New Gods… Perhaps you’ve not done your reading…

  • jeanbetancourt1 When writing a script about comics, it’s kinda expected you read something, sorry…. You don’t have to be cannon, most people aren’t going to hold you to it, but general knowledge is something everyone is going to lean in on.

  • jeanbetancourt1 If you’re going to write this, it should be about the struggle between Darkseid and Highfather, not jump to Earth… It should map out the dynamic between Highfather, Darkseid and the old Gods (Ares doesn’t die, Artemis wasn’t born yet, and a earth was barely populated 8th century BC. In the 1st War. over the Ant-Life Equation. If this is going to be a prequel it has to remain Bronze Age, Mister Mircle and Big Barda Revolted in the 70’s Watchmen age, Mister Miracle actually taught Bruce Wayne some of his 1st escapism tactic. There’s a lot that should go into a 4th World film. 1. Highfather Darkseid split, 2. You get your world I get mine. 3. The Anti-Equation (Highfather seeks it out and finds instead the Sour e Shard, a monolith that tells him the future. Darkseid not so lucky… Only Steppenwolfs last invasion told him anything with Darkseid’s army light years away. So we get a pause, not much, but a pause… That’s this film Swap Thing (early Bats Pattinson) , A Death in the Family, Red Hood and Outlaws, Supes Bats Public Enemies(Green Arrow Intro) then Brightest Day Darkest Knight (Bats as a Lantern), and Injustice Gods Among Us (I know you get VIDEO Game from that, but it’s NOT!) Basically an outlay of Gods New/Old, as Batman and the Justice League Battles Darkseid. But only one Nat can pull it off, “Batman the Merciless” in Ares armor wielding the real “God Killer” sword… (Don’t even think about stealing from me my ideas and scripts are copyrighted). BUT IF YOUR GOING TO FO NEW GODS! Do that New Gods… A prequel a spring board. The turning of true colors for Orion, the escape from Apocalypse of Scott Free and Big Barda, possibly their fight on Earth, in like 1970, but really uneccessaray…
