Original idea by me
A young Korean-American girl with her widowed father realized that their life has been changed when her new stepmother is actually a foster carer who works at a foster home with many adopted foster children. In the same vein as The Wonder Years and Everybody Hates Chris, the adult version of main character will narrate the story as the episodes take place on the same day, except with different years, in the same manner as Me, Myself and I and This Is Us, set from 1979 as a child, 1983 as a teenager, 1992 as a young adult in her 20s and the present day as an adult.
