We return to Barry early days as the Flash, roughly a decade ago. While still striving to master his powers, CSI Barry Allen has been acting as the speedster hero, the Flash, for the past few months, protecting Central City. However, being the fastest man alive doesn't make life easy; as his obligations mount, he struggles to find time for Lisa Snart, whom he is dating. Not to mention that his mind is fixated on a single thing: the mysterious man in yellow who killed his mother years ago. Meanwhile, a group of criminals the Flash has previously apprehended gets a second shot at the speedster; they band together as the Rogues to take down the Flash and seize Central City for themselves. Caught in the middle of it all is young journalist Iris West, who is chasing a scoop, whether it’s about the Flash or the recent heists committed by the Rogues, all while she and Barry grow closer. In the shadows, a figure watches everything with great care and caution. By a twist of fate, Barry and Iris begin to grow closer.
