  • misterwolf Plot: Three years after killing Nightmare Fredbear, Golden Freddy is living in exile with Elizabeth Afton, a little girl he adopted and had named after his younger sister who died many years ago.
  • misterwolf After Elizabeth’s adopted mother, whom Golden Freddy helped raise the child, the two cremate her body and collect her ashes in a small bag. Golden Freddy plans to scatter the ashes in the Grand Canyon, knowing that it was her dying wish. However, Elizabeth goes missing, and Golden Freddy realizes she has been kidnapped; he alerts former High Legion members, the Puppet and Chica and they begin searching for the child, while Golden Freddy runs into the resurrected Springtrap, his old nemesis. After a long fight, he kicks him off a cliff, disfiguring him.
  • misterwolf The Puppet and Chica report to Golden Freddy with no success, and the three meet Shadow Freddy at San Francisco, who reveals that the Master Crystal has predicted the future, and the predictions came true as Freddy, Foxy, and Bonnie are alive once again. The group travels to Mt. Everest, and they retrieve the three relics before setting out to New York City. The spirit of Jeremy Fitzgerald appears and warns them that Springtrap is alive, but Golden Freddy states that he is aware of that.
  • misterwolf Fitzgerald reveals to Golden Freddy that Michael Afton might be able to help the latter find his child, but his spirit is trapped in the Shadow Realm. Golden Freddy realizes that he must return home to dig up a past he swore would stay buried. As he rides a magic boat taking him to his cabin, the ghost of William Afton, his father, appears, but he discouraged him by saying “Father………….. Get out of my head”.
  • misterwolf He arrives home and retrieves his old gear; his red cape, his shoulder armor, his belt bag, and finally, the Soul Sword itself. As he gears up, William’s ghost attempts to convince Golden Freddy that he cannot stop Springtrap and that he cannot change, but Golden Freddy replies that he is not the one who cannot be changed. He then steps out of his house and uses the sword on Springtrap’s minions as practice to remember how to use it. The Puppet and the others arrive to help him, and they defeat the minions. They travel to the Pacific Northwest and they find Michael’s burial site, and Golden Freddy uses the Soul Sword to free his brother from the Shadow Realm.
  • misterwolf The group travels to Egypt, where they learn that the Bent Pyramid is where Elizabeth is being held. They go there, but Golden Freddy is shocked to learn that Springtrap was the one to kidnap her. Springtrap’s minions arrive and surround the group, but Golden Freddy uses the Matrix of Power to wipe them out and the group retreats back to San Francisco.
  • misterwolf More minions pursue them, and just as they are about to kill them, Michael arrives and incinerates the minions with the Master Crystal. Springtrap himself arrives and Golden Freddy engages him. Shadow Freddy intercepts Springtrap and saves Golden Freddy just before Springtrap can kill him, but Springtrap seemingly burns Shadow Freddy with his lightning. Golden Freddy then stabs Springtrap in retaliation, but he survives and is forced to make his escape.
  • misterwolf In the aftermath, Shadow Freddy re-emerges from his ashes, as he is not alive. Golden Freddy decides to reform the High Legion to prepare for Springtrap’s return, and promises to Elizabeth that he will train her to fight before the end credits roll.
  • misterwolf In a post-credits scene, Golden Freddy and Elizabeth awaken to discover that an unknown presence is damaging their cabin. They open the door to see and unidentified figure standing outside. Golden Freddy yells "Who are you?!" and the figure's hand transforms into a drill, revealing himself to be Souldozer, but he does not speak.
