A concept for an animated Firestorm series that came to me recently. Note that as this is animated, the age and physical appearance of the actors does not matter that much.
caitlinfrost-While Crystal Frost likely won't fit in as the first version of Killer Frost, she will exist as a motivation for Louise, though Louise won't be revealed until about the halfway point of the series. In the first episode, there'd be a brief shot of a woman trying to get her seemingly unconscious (but later revealed to be dead) friend after one of Firestorm's first fights ends up causing a bit of collateral damage.
caitlinfrost-Come to the last few episodes of our second season, and we learn that the woman trying in vain to awaken her fallen friend...is none other than Louise Lincoln.
caitlinfrost-For the first season, though, Caitlin is our main Killer Frost, with some subtle allusions to Louise doing something behind the surface...but it isn't immediately confirmed until towards the end of season 2.
caitlinfrost-Caitlin, in a Zuko-esque fashion, is gradually revealed to be more and more sympathetic as the series goes on, until at the midpoint in season 2, she outright snaps in desperation during one of her fights with Firestorm. Not an aggressive snap, but a tearful one with hints of "You think I had a choice?!"
caitlinfrost-Ronnie Raymond, Martin Stein, and Jason Rusch are all a part of the series. In the first season Ronnie and Stein make up the two halves of Firestorm, but towards the end of season 1, Stein disappears. Most people assume he's dead, but Ronnie's not convinced. In the first episode of season 2, Ronnie discovers that he and Jason can also fuse to become Firestorm, though needless to say having a completely different voice in his head takes some getting used to.
caitlinfrost-When Louise is revealed at the end of season 2, we learn why Stein disappeared: she's been holding him hostage. She knows he has something to do with Firestorm, who she blames for the death of her friend, and hopes that by holding the hero's "friend" hostage she can draw him out so she can kill him herself.
caitlinfrost-Martin Stein is reasonably freaked out when he learns that Ronnie and Jason have managed to ally themselves with Caitlin, and it takes her quite some time to earn the group's trust.
caitlinfrost-In order to avoid too much confusion in regards to Caitlin and Louise, I may give Caitlin an alias other than "Killer Frost". Some choices I have considered include Black Ice, Deep Freeze, Hailstorm, North Wind, and Hypothermia.
