Chip Potts is a fictional supporting character in Disney's 1991 animated feature film, Beauty and the Beast. He is the son of Mrs. Potts, the head/chief housekeeper of the Beast's castle. Chip's duties in the castle are presumably that of a kitchen boy under the supervision of his mother when all of the inhabitants were human before they were cursed by the Enchantress, turning them all into anthropomorphic household objects until the spell was broken by Belle and the now-human Beast professed their love to each other.
