Mr. Devereaux is the longest-staying resident in the nursing home. Oscar is one of the few people who is able to reason with him due to his paranoia. He likes being around him as he would give wisdom to him. When Oscar reveals his plight of not getting a Plushtrap Chaser, Mr. Devereaux pushes him to try to get one. Oscar hears his wisdom when he steals the toy, and again when he jumps in front of the train to destroy it. Afterwards, Mr. Deveraux asks if he got the toy, and he replies that he did not, but he was glad that he tried. Mr. Deveraux is satisfied.
