Fantastic Four Vs X-Men: Civil War is a 2010 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics team Fantastic Four and X-Men, produced by Marvel Studios. It is the sequel to X-Men: Sinister (2009) and Fantastic Four Quantumaniam (2009). The film was directed by Paul Greengrass from a screenplay by the writing team of Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and stars Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, James Marsden, Famke Janssen, Halle Berry, Kelsey Grammer, Anna Paquin, Taylor Kitsch, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Daniel Cudmore, Ben Foster, Rachel McAdams, Ioan Gruffurd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis, Ryan Reynolds, Ben Affleck, Jordana Brewster, Terry Crews, Hayden Christensen, Thomas Jane, Jennifer Garner, Wesley Snipes, Nicholas Cage, Ian McKellen, Rebecca Romjin, Julian McMahon, Alan Rickman And Christopher Lee. In Civil War, disagreement over international oversight of the X-Men And Fantastic Four fractures the team into two opposing factions—one led by The X-Men and the other by The Fantastic Four.
Fantastic Four Vs X-Men: Civil War held its world premiere in Los Angeles on April 12, 2016, and was released in the United States on May 6. The film was a commercial success, grossing over $1.1 billion worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing film of 2010, and received positive reviews, including praise for the performances (particularly Paquin And Alba), action sequences, and themes.
