Prolonged exposure to solar rays after being trapped in the negative zone for decades changes the biology of a team of scientist explorers, granting them superpowers. Upon returning they must deal with their metamorphoses, make their discoveries known and deal with the threat of the Mole Man who's plans to delve deeper into the Earth's mantle than anyone has ever dug. unknowingly heading towards a rift in space that when tampered with, could release the annihilation wave to earth.
